This comes with 40 recordered phrases as well as all the software you will need to install into the computer for it to respond to your voice prompts. It only takes a short while to set up and the majority of that time is just training the system to recognize and respond to your voice. Hit me up if you have any questions

Hey guys,

Just an update. I had the entire top end of the motor rebuilt. Brand new intake, bigger fuel injectors, new coil packs, replaced all the censors (MAP, MAF, Throttle, Knock, and a few others) new seals, new radiator. A bunch of stuff the car didn't really need, but figured it couldn't hurt. To top it off I had a new (used with 55k miles on it) transmission with shift kit installed.

This ran me $980. If you live in the Cincinnati area then I can not recommend JE Performance enough they do great work at great prices.

The bad news is though, is that after doing all this the car ran like a champ for about 15 mins. The car started to backfire and then stall leading us to believe the coil packs we replaced might be faulty.

Well we noticed the fuel gauge acting stupid, reading 3/4 of a tank, then empty and so on, so we tested the sending unit which was going ballistic reading 10lbs of pressure for a while, then it would jump to 45lbs, then drop back to 12lbs then jump to 60lbs then quickly back to 10lbs and then idle till it died. So I have to pick up a new fuel pump. Only problem is GM charges 400 bucks for that sucker.

Looked around and found out that there is a great aftermarket pump called the Holley Walbro 255. At 150 bucks, and 70 for the new fuel sending unit, how could you go wrong. So that gets installed next week and then the 99 Firebird is back on the road.

My next round of mods will be opening up the air flow with a brand new exhaust from the manifolds back to the pipes. I will be putting in an 02 sim, and killing the catalytic converter. 160 degree thermostat will make the fans kick on sooner keeping the engine cooler. After that I'm looking to install an SLP RAM AIR kit and upgrading the hood to the raptor ram air hood with the 4inch nostrils for the forced air.

This will get me ready for my next mod. A Cyberdine Super Charger. :D

Hi fellow bloggers. Just thought I would take the time to announce my project that I am working on as of late.

A few months ago I came across a 4th gen bird for $650. It had a blown head gasket and a stripped transmission and body damage to the drivers side door, and rear quarter panel.

My plan for this car is to create a 4th gen Knight 3000, or what I would have considered to be the next generation of KITT. I'll be ignoring the Knight 4000 ever existed with this project in mind.

I don't think I will be cutting in a JC Whitney scanner and calling it complete though. I intend to have a completely Knight Rider inspired custom front nose, custom dash and wheel, and a few other goodies later down the road.

Stay tuned to my blog as I post updates regarding the projects status!
